Community
In addition to organizing IPA events, the Independent Potters' Association supports various programs and events that are run by other organizations in the community.
​
For the Everson Museum of Art and Empty Bowls, members of the IPA donate their creations in clay to benefit the Museum and/or the Interreligious Food Consortium, respectively.
​
In such cases as Feats of Clay, Raku Day and the Clayscapes Pottery Market, the process of making with clay is celebrated and promoted. Members of the IPA are on hand to help with these events.
