I have been working in clay for nearly14 years. I got started working with clay after a NYSATA (New York State Art Teachers Association) teacher workshop day, and found it as a relaxing and constantly evolving means of artistic expression.

I enjoy making hand thrown cups, bowls, plates, and bottles as well as seeking exposure to new means of surface design and relearning forms with new approaches.
My current technique is exploring a painted whimsical, layered, colorful approach that may also include the surface techniques of water etching, sgrafitto, and carving.
